For the second consecutive year, Altaaqa Alternative Solutions has successfully powered the Jubail Spring Festival, an event aimed at promoting tourism to the area and supporting productive families by providing free space to sell products.
The festival was opened by HH Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, on March 15, with participation from 45 companies and institutions specialized in the field of agriculture, landscaping and appliances, nurseries and aquariums, and lighting and accessories, in addition to competent government agencies. Also participating were several Gulf countries: Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
In 2014, Altaaqa supplied power to the festival using two generators. This year, the company provided 14 rental generators as the main power source for the event. Responsible for initializing, testing and commissioning, Altaaqa operators were onsite for the entire event.
Established in 2004, Altaaqa Alternative Solutions is an environmentally responsible utility provider of electrical power, water and cooling solutions serving exclusively the dynamic Saudi Arabian market. Exceeding 1GW, the company is the largest local supplier of rental generators and is the largest single owner of Caterpillar rental generators in the world.
