Altaaqa Alternative Solutions provided 17 generators for the iThra Knowledge Program 2014, one of the most successful outreach programs in the history of Saudi Aramco.
Half a million individuals visited the interactive exhibition, including more than 10,000 students from 160 schools throughout Jeddah. The program revealed scientific and cultural achievements of the Muslim civilization from the golden age in the 7th century to today.
Altaaqa was responsible for powering the event through 17 generators, and completed the installation and technical work in 4 days by supplying 2,500-meter cables and distribution panels. The company also provided power supply to AC, lights, sound systems and screens, as well as a back-up mobile generator in case of an emergency. Two operators were on-site for the duration of the event, which lasted from 1 January 2014 to 13 February 2014.
